Jesse Clifton -Cliff- Watson, Sr., 86, of Wilson passed away Wednesday.-Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Saturday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-  A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park.-The Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6-6:45 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and at other times at 2611 Joel Lane North.

-Cliff- is survived by his wife, Joyce Snipes Watson of Wilson; two sons, Cliff Watson, Jr. and wife, Janell of Wilson, and Don Watson and wife, Judy of Wilson; a daughter, Becky Crook Allen and husband, Jimmy of Emerald Isle: six grandchildren, Jessica Mayes, Bradley Watson, Summer Allen, Aspen Allen, Grant Allen and Dustin Crook and three great-grandchildren.-/p>

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Watson and nine brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Baptist Church, 202 N Kincaid Avenue, Wilson, NC
