Stephanie I. Issette March 18, 1953 – September 28, 2018 Stephanie I. Issette, 65, of Wilson, NC went to be with her savior on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born March 18, 1953, in Cook County, Illinois a daughter of the late Glenn and Norma Thum Ingle. Stephanie held her master’s degree in library science and worked at Toisnot Middle School and Hunt High School in Wilson, NC. She was an active member of Peace Church. She loved life and helping people learn more about Christ. Stephanie never met a stranger. Survivors include her husband of 39 years Gary, of the home; son, Glenn Issette and wife, Janna of Wilson, NC; sister, Melanie Simpson of British Columbia, Canada; grandson, Grant Issette of Wilson, NC; nieces and nephews, Benton and Adelaide Donald and Emily, Kate and Molly Finch. In addition to her parents Stephanie was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Sam. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Scholarship Fund at Wilson Christian Academy c/o Dwight Vanderboegh, 1820 Airport Blvd NW, Wilson, NC 27893. A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Peace Church, 2838 Tilghman Rd N, Wilson, NC 27896, with Reverend Rusty Russell officiating.
