Stephen Keen November 9, 1940 – June 30, 2018 Stephen “Tom” Keen, 77 of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at West Wilson Church of God, 3322 NC 42, Wilson. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Steve Edmondson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at West Wilson Church of God, Wilson and other times at the home. “Tom” was known to be a man who helped anyone who needed help. He grew a garden only to give the produce to other. “Tom” is survived by his niece, Cindy Thorne, who was also his care-giver; sister, Katherine Ruffin of Lucama; sister-in-law, Elsie Smith of Wilson; brothers-in-law, Jimmie E. Smith and wife, Kathy of Wilson and Jerry Williams of Wilson, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Smith Keen; his son, Stephen Randall Keen; parents, Leman and Inez Keen, and a sister, Nellie Ruth Parsons.
