Stephen F. Redding April 3, 1947 – October 12, 2019 Stephen “Steve” F. Redding passed away Saturday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Elder Floyd Norris will officiate. Steve is survived by his niece, Sara Elizabeth Redding and her son, John Galloway Redding; nephew, William Raymond Redding, III and wife, Pamela Price Redding and their children, William Raymond Redding IV and Anna Price Redding; cousin, Dave Birkhead; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Redding and numerous friends in the racing and aviation community as well as a host of Christian sisters and brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Raymond and Eula Bass Redding and brother, William “Bill” Raymond Redding, Jr. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Wilson County Humane Society, PO Box 7064, Wilson, North Carolina 27895 or the Vidant Heart Center, 526 Moye Boulevard, Greenville, North Carolina 27834.
