Stephen Earl Wilson September 3, 1936 – November 4, 2020 Stephen “Steve” Earl Wilson, 84 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. His graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Craig Simmons and Rev. Brian Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Maplewood Cemetery and other times at the residence. Steve loved his family, church and friends. He enjoyed working in his yard. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him, he will be thought of often with loving memories. Steve is survived by his loving wife of sixty-six years, Barbara “Bobbie” Lamm Wilson of the home; daughters, Diane W. Lamm and husband, Ken of Wilson, Kristie Eatmon and husband, Ronnie of Sims and Kimberly Wilson of Louisburg; granddaughters, Kristie L. Johnson and husband, Jason of Wilson, Keri Taylor of Wilmington, Samantha Moore and husband, William of Wendell and Tiffany B. Jacob and husband, Brent of Spring Hope; grandson, Randy Eatmon and wife, Ashley of Sims; six great-grandchildren; sister, Candace Brewer and husband, Selby of Wilson and his brothers, Ricky Wilson and wife, Sue of Bailey and Keith Wilson and wife, Wanda of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford Earl and Agnes Fulghum Wilson; sister, Marlene White and his brother, Purvis Wilson.
