Steven Barry Pavelsky February 8, 1952 – November 12, 2018 Steven “Sparkky” Barry Pavelsky, 66 of Wilson formerly of Tarboro, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018. A memorial service will be held at a later date. “Sparkky” was the former mayor of Leggett and was a 33rd degree Mason and Past Master of Concord Lodge 58 in Tarboro. He was a real Renaissance Man that was a loving husband, son, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. “Sparkky” was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. “Sparkky” is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Helen Kahn of the home; his son, Doug Pavelsky of Wilson; grandson, Josh Pavelsky; granddaughter, Shannon Webb; his sisters, Analee McLain and husband, Charles of Gainesville, Florida and Rose Marsha Corrales and husband, Gene of St. Augustine, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
