Steven Wayne Roberson, 61, of Lucama passed away Tuesday.  A memorial service will be conducted 4 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Rev.  Tim McFatter will officiate.   The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.   Steven enjoyed life and lived it to the “fullest”.  He was a great father, brother and friend, who will be missed dearly.   Steven is survived by his son, Christopher Shane Roberson of Wilson; his grandson, Noah Roberson of Selma; his granddaughter, Chelsea Roberson of Selma; his sister, Myrtle Roberson Creech and husband, Donnie of Kenly and his brothers, Carney Lee Roberson, Jr. and wife, Sue of Aden, Bobby Ray Roberson and wife, Faye of Elm City and William Earl Roberson and wife, Diane of Kenly.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kaye Bottoms Roberson and his parents, Carney Lee and Ida Belle Whitley Roberson.   Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the LifeCare Hospital in Rocky Mount, 1051 Noell Lane, Rocky Mount, NC  27804.   Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
