Stevie Jerome Warrick
February 5, 1971 – April 9, 2014
Stevie Jerome Warrick, 43, of Elm City went to be his Heavenly Father Wednesday. He was a special person that was affectionately loved by all that knew him. Stevie was an avid N.C. State, Carolina Panthers and a Matt Kenseth fan. He will be greatly missed and thought of often with joy and memories that will live forever in the hearts that knew him. Funeral services will be conducted 6 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Marvin Smith will officiate. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Brenda Lynch, 6231 Stagecoach Road, Elm City. Stevie is survived by his mother, Brenda Batchelor Lynch of Elm City; his brother, Danny Lee “Mac” Warrick, Jr. of Wilson; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Lucas Batchelor of Lucama; his paternal grandmother, Thelma Doris Warrick Godwin of Wilson and his step-brother, Donald Wayne Lynch, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Elm City. He loved and was loved by all his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Lee Warrick, Sr.; his grandfathers, Roosevelt Warrick and James “Junior” Batchelor, Jr.; and his step-father, Donnie Wayne Lynch.
