Susan Hill Wethington July 8, 1965 – November 15, 2019 Susan Hill Wethington, 54 of Wilson passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2512 Nash Street N, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Johnny Scott and Rev. Zach Harris will officiate. Feel free to wear bright colors in honor of Susan on this day when you say goodbye. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Susan was the co-owner and chief financial officer of B & J Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning of Wilson. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Susan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed with memories of her smile that will warm your heart. Susan is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Mark Eugene Wethington of the home; daughter, Jeslyn Suzan Wethington of the home and friend, Austin Bunn; son, Travis Mark Wethington and wife, Mandy of Nashville; granddaughter, Tristyn Wethington; mother, Rebecca S. Hill of Wilson ; sister, Lisa Hill Gardner of Wilson; mother-in-law, Rebecca Herndon and husband, Larry of Wilson; paternal father-in-law, Roy Wethington and wife, Kay; brother-in-law, Eric Wethington and wife, Doretha; nieces, Lauren Robbins and husband, Miller and Amber Gardner; nephew, Carl Whitfield, Jr. and wife, Brittany, and their daughter, Sutton and her cousin and best friend, Terri Joyner and husband, Patrick. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Hill.
