Susan Travis Woodring December 23, 1957 – September 1, 2016 Susan Travis Woodring, 58, of Lucama passed away Thursday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Gary of the home; her daughter, Nicole Tucker and husband, Steve of Clayton; her grandson, Austin Hardman of Clayton; her stepdaughter, Mandi Foster and husband, Darrell of Phoenix, Arizona; her brother, Ron Travis and wife, Laura of Barberton, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Margie Woodring of Sharpsburg; her brother-in-law, Danny Woodring of Rocky Mount and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Eugene and Laura Jean Boyce Travis.
