Tanner James Ortiz

Tanner James Ortiz, 19, of Bailey, passed away Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rev. Jared Reid will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bailey Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Tanner is survived by his mother, Pamela Hughes; sisters, Bridget Hughes and Latisha Hughes; brother, Javier Raya; nephews, Liam Hughes and Waylon Anderson and his niece, Scarlett Rhodes.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Hughes; grandmother, Vicky Brown and his aunt, Michelle Hughes.
