Theresa “Tessa” Hattingh Whitley, 48, of Sims passed away Friday, November 29, 2013.  A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Nobles Chapel Baptist Church, 7330 Old Raleigh Road, Sims.  The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to service at the church.  The Rev. Paul Batson will officiate. Tessa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all that knew her.  She will be greatly missed and thought of often with loving memories that will bring joy to the heart. Tessa is survived by her husband, Keith Whitley of the home; her daughters, Bela Gomes and Bianca Gomes both of South Africa; her parents, Gert and Adriesa Hattingh and her sisters, Reinette Hattingh and Leonie Fourie both of South Africa.
