Thomas Earl Batchelor May 20, 1944 – January 18, 2021 Thomas Earl Batchelor, 76 of Lucama passed away Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Marvin Smith will officiate. Thomas is survived by his sisters, Brenda Lynch of Lucama, Bernice Bunn and husband, Jay of Lucama and Deborah Mangum and husband, Nelson of Lucama; brothers, Donald Batchelor and wife, Joyce of Middlesex, James Batchelor of Wilson, Ronnie Batchelor and wife, Marsha of Smithfield, Phillip Batchelor and wife, Patricia of Lucama and Michael Batchelor and wife, Karla of Pikeville and several nieces and nephews, who he loved as his own children. He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Jr” Batchelor, Jr. and Hazel Lucas Batchelor. The family would like to thank Wilson Pines and the WilMed Covid Unit for their passionate care, love and support given to Thomas in his time of need.
