Thomas Eddie Evans, 87, of Wilson passed away Sunday.  His funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Maplewood Cemetery.  The Rev. Jerry Nelson and Rev. Dale Eatmon will officiate.   The family will receive friends Tuesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home.   Thomas is survived by his wife, Mable Evans of the home; his daughters, Brenda Brewer and husband, Ken of Wilson; Janet Melvin and husband, Bobby of Wilson, Deborah Radford and husband, David of Wilson, Vera Beamon and husband, Doug of Wilson; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren;  and his son-in-law, David Barnhill of Wilson.   He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stacy Beamon; his parents, Eddie and Sudie Davis Evans and his three brothers.   Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC  27609.   Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net
