Thomas "Melvin" Page

Thomas “Melvin” Page, of Elm City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his girls on August 28, 2023 at Rex Hospital.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1 at 11:00 am at Tablernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Boulevard West, Wilson.  Entombment will immediately follow funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash Street North, Wilson.  Pastor Joe Shakour and Pastor Randy Jones will officiate.

 

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 1 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church and at other times at his daughter, Amy Deans' home.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Page and Amy Page Deans and husband, Tommy; and granddaughter, Bailey Deans all of Wilson.  He is also survived by his sisters, Lucy P. Jones of Elm City, Mary P. Williford of Macclesfield, and many special nieces and nephews.

 

Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Kay S. Page; parents, Plymouth Page and Katie Howell Page; and special companion, Shirley Ricks.
