Thomas "Tom" Woodard Ruffin, Jr.

Thomas “Tom” Woodard Ruffin, Jr., 68, of Wilson, passed away Friday. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Rev. David Barnes will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Tom is survived by his life companion and soulmate, Phyllis Johnson; brother, Timothy Hilliard Ruffin; nieces, Catherine Ruffin and husband, Marcus Maynor and Amy Harrell; great nephews, Isaiah, Micah and Sawyer Thomas and great niece, Parrish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Patricia Ruffin, Sr.; sister, Sandy Allen Ruffin and great aunt, Pattie Bell Ruffin.
