Timothy Wayne Whitley January 6, 1952 – September 19, 2016 Timothy “Wayne” Whitley, 64, of Wilson passed away Monday. The family will receive friends 3 – 5 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his sister, Ann Cayton. Wayne is survived by his wife, Cheryl Whitley of the home; his daughter, Carmen James and his son, Timothy Wayne Whitley, II, both of the home; grandson, Elijah James of the home; his sister, Ann Cayton of Elm City, and nephews, Jeffery Wayne Cayton of Winston Salem and Brian Joseph Cayton of Dayton, Nevada.
