Tommy Vernon Pate, Sr. August 27, 1967 – May 18, 2015 Tommy Vernon Pate, Sr. 47, of Wilson passed away Monday. His funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Faye Jones and the Rev. Darrell Hooker will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Ashley Ann Pate and fiancé, Eric Jones and his son, Tommy Vernon Pate, Jr. both of Lucama; his parents, Roy Vernon Pate and Louise Mooring Pate of Lucama; his brother, Jack Van Pate and wife, Wendy of Wilson; his nieces, Stephanie and Alexis Pate and nephew, Dillon Pate all of Wilson.
