Toney Glenn Walston

Toney Glenn Walston September 2, 1949 – October 2, 2020 Toney Glenn Walston, 71 of Kenly passed away Friday. His memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Piney Grove OFW Baptist Church, 2201 Piney Grove Church Road, Kenly. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home. Toney was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors. He was an ordained Deacon and usher in his church. Toney spent years as a volunteer coach with the North Johnston Softball Team. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Toney is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Sandra Daniels Walston; daughters, Ashley Walston Bissett and Amber Walston Wilkins and husband, Jeremy; son, Donavan Eugene Walston and wife, Sarah; his wonderful grandchildren, Hayden, Braylen, Lyle and Meadow; brother, Connie Mack Walston; sister-in-law, Pam Homes and husband, Mark; and brother-in-law, George Daniels and wife, Wanda and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hadie and Mary Elizabeth Walston and his sister-in-law, Hope Walston.
