Troy Fisher Stone December 18, 1997 – November 23, 2019 Troy Fisher Stone, 21 of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Stone Heritage Cemetery, Middlesex. The Rev. Jack Stone and Wayne Hoskins will officiate. EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO WEAR CAMOUFLAGE ATTIRE TO THE SERVICE. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9 – 10:45 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times the home. Troy was the ultimate hunter, fisherman and boater. He played soccer at Greenfield where he graduated in 2016 and was attending Wayne Community College to earn a degree in Forestry. Troy’s favorite word was “Solid” and he loved classic rock music. Troy is survived by his parents, Anthony Hunter and Rhonda Potter Stone, of the home; sister, Dana Caroline Stone of Raleigh; his twin brother, Ryan Anderson Stone of Wilson and maternal grandparents, Gayle and Linda Potter of Goldsboro. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Phillip and Lou Nell Strickland Stone.
