Victor Gene Barnes, 71, of Wilson passed away Sunday.  The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.   Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.  He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.  Victor was a third degree Mason KNAPP Lodge 462 in Berwick, Pennsylvania.  He was owner of Barnes Construction in Pennsylvania for twelve years and Barnes Cabinet in Wilson for twenty years.  He was retired from TriCity Insulation in 2009.   Victor is survived by his wife of forty years, Sharon Oblosser Barnes; his daughters, Gina Venditti Aschemann and husband, Todd of Quincy, Illinois and Victoria Michaels of Pennsylvania; his sons, Joshua Barnes and wife, Brenda of Wilson and Lt. Colonel Rick Venditti and wife, Ann- Margaret of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Jenna Barnes, Justin Pierce, Savannah Pierce, Devin Bessell,  Zack Aschemann,  Jack Aschemann, Cate Aschemann, Enrico Venditti, Dominic Venditti and Alexa Venditti; and his brothers, Franklin Barnes of Berwick, Pennsylvania, Charles Barnes of Mifflinville, Pennsylvania and Richard Barnes of Mifflinville, Pennsylvania.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Livingston G.
