Virgil Ray Viverette March 2, 1961 – May 24, 2014

Virgil Ray Viverette, 53, of Elm City, died Saturday. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Virgil is survived by his sister, Rose Marie Curlings and husband, Mickey of Battleboro; two brothers, William Carroll Viverette and Edith of Battleboro and Mitchell Wade Viverette and wife, Pam of Hickory; two special nieces, Wendy Sue Viverette of Rocky Mount and Starr Rochelle Edmondson of Kenly; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Lynn Aleshire Viverette, and his parents, Albert Cecil Viverette and Bertha Carpenter Curlings.
