Virgil Worth Watson August 21, 1922 – August 19, 2016 Virgil Worth “Pop” Watson, 93, of Kenly passed away Friday. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Buckhorn Cemetery, Kenly. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Worth is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Rosa Richardson Watson of the home; his sons, Dr. Linwood Worth Watson and wife, Turi of Fuquay Varina, and Byrum Wesley Watson and wife, Elizabeth of Kenly; his grandchildren, Wesley Gray Watson, Ellie Ruth Watson, and Lila Anders Watson of Kenly, and Aspen Paige Watson, and Skye Gabrielle Watson of Fuquay Varina; his sister, Kathlene Woodard of Kansas and several loving nieces and nephews.
