Virginia Jones Davis Sanders July 1, 1927 – November 10, 2018 Virginia Jones Davis Sanders, 91 of Wilson formerly of Kenly, passed away Saturday peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kenly Town Cemetery, N Englewood Drive, Kenly. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Diana D. Grizzard. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Diana D. Grizzard and husband, Mickey of Wilson and Linda D. Hales of Micro; sister, Hilda Wales of Chesapeake, Virginia; her brothers, Walter Kenneth Jones and wife, Anna of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jerry Crumpler, Jr. and Wiley Crumpler both of Kenly; grandsons, Mike Grizzard and wife, Kim of Winterville, Christopher Todd Crumpler and wife, Darcy of Williamsburg, Virginia; granddaughters, Terry Horton and husband, Will of Bailey and Cindy Davis of Kenly; her great-grandsons, Ben Grizzard, Nick Grizzard, Nathan Crumpler and Colin Crumpler and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Davis; mother, Neppie Jones Crumpler; sisters, Verlie Davis and Yvonne Phillips and her brother, Ben Jones.
