Virginia “Jenny” Lucas July 16, 1944 – July 9, 2019 Virginia “Jenny” Lucas, 74 of Wilson passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. “Jenny” was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. “Jenny” is survived by her husband, Joseph Lucas; her daughters, Michele E. Wilson and husband, Jamie and Allison McGurk and husband, Matt; grandson, Jack Wilson; sister, Peggy Jenkins of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; favorite grand-dog, Wall-e; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; Jenny’s special girls and boys from Bill’s BB-Q; special nephew, Al Proctor and special cousin, Ada Forbes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Harris Ellis and Eddie Ellis; sister, Louise Proctor and her brothers, Rufus Ellis, Bill Ellis and Eddie Ellis. The family would like to thank Allen Thomas for his friendship and support.
