Virginia High Williams May 28, 1933 – October 15, 2017 Virginia High Williams, 84, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the residence. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Connie W. Rabil and husband, Richard of Wilson; son, James Ray Williams and wife, Cathy of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Crickett Bottoms and fiancé Pablo Maldonado of Lucama; grandson, Jason Williams of Wilmington; great-grandson and the love of her life, Nolan G. Gonzalez of Lucama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lester Williams; parents, Lester Lee High and Jennie High Anderson. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Kitty Askins Hospice Care for the exceptional care, love and compassion given to our Mother and Grandmother.
