W. Jeffery McDaniel June 20, 1933 – June 30, 2018 W. Jeffery McDaniel, 85, of Wilson passed away Saturday. His memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 414 Sunset Road, Wilson. The Rev. Tom Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Jeff was retired from Export Leaf Tobacco Company. He was a Mason and the Grand Master with the Westhampton Masonic Lodge in Richmond, Virginia. Jeff enjoyed playing golf. His faith was strong and guiding. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Jeff is survived by his children, Leigh McDaniel and wife, Gwen of Richmond, Virginia, Ross McDaniel and wife, Debbie, and Christie Buscemi and husband, Michael both of Wilson; grandchildren, Jeffrey McDaniel and wife, Leana, Heather Lor and husband, Cham, Kyle McDaniel, Sydney McDaniel, Connor McDaniel, Madison Buscemi, and Nathan Buscemi, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Richardson McDaniel; grandson, Nicholas S. McDaniel; parents, Macon and Mary McDaniel, and his sister, Beverly Harris.
