Walter Jackson Wooten May 28, 1935 – June 8, 2016 Walter Jackson Wooten, 81, of Macclesfield passed away Wednesday. A memorial visitation to celebrate Walter’s life will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of his sister, Katheryn Walston of Elm City. Walter is survived by his wife, Doris Wooten of Tarboro; his sister, Katheryn Walston and husband, Nelton of Elm City and a brother, Bobby Wooten and wife, Faye of Elm City.
