Wayne Godwin November 16, 1946 – January 2, 2019 Wayne Godwin, 72 of Wilson passed away Wednesday in the home surrounded by his wife and loved ones. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Linda Matthews Godwin of the home; daughter, Kim Deans and husband, Larry of Wilson; sister, Vicky Dollar of Wilson; half-sister, Sharon Godwin of Smithfield and several nieces and nephews.
