Wilbur Franklin Wilson, Jr. April 1, 1960 – June 24, 2018 Wilbur Franklin Wilson, Jr., 58, of Wilson passed away Sunday. The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at 6432 Slabtown Road, Wilson. Wilbur loved to go fishing with his brother, Tony and adored his mama to the fullest. He was a loving person who loved everybody, and he was loved in return. Wilbur will be greatly missed and thoughts of him will bring smiles and warm your heart. Wilbur is survived by his son, Joseph Ray “Joey” Wilson of Spring Hope; three grandchildren; his mother, Carolyn Taylor Wilson of Wilson; brothers, James Wilson of Wilson, Tommy Wilson of Middlesex, and Tony Wilson of the home, and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Franklin Wilson, and his grandparents, Robert and Janie Taylor, and Gordan Wilbur and Leana Wilson.
