Will Taylor Raper February 8, 1926 – March 22, 2018 Will “Jack” Taylor Raper, 92, of Lucama passed away Thursday. His funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in the Raper Family Cemetery, St. Mary’s Church Road, Lucama. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 – 6 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Jack served his country with honor and pride while he was in the U.S. Army. Jack is survived by his wife, Mildred Pearson Raper of the home; his sons, William Raper, Kenneth Raper, and Donnie Raper and wife, Joyce all of Lucama; his grandchildren, Dennis Raper, Jason Tomlinson, Susan Raper, John Raper and Kenny Raper; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
