William Earl Baker

William Earl Baker February 16, 1931 – September 17, 2020 William “Bill” Earl Baker, 89 of Wilson passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020. His funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Rex Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Bill is survived by his sons, Danny Baker (Becky) of Elm City, Keith Baker (Lisa) of Wilson, Jeff Baker of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Kim Baker of Elm City; grandchildren, Jerry Baker (Heather), Tina Wells (Keith), Mike Baker (Amber), Billy Baker (Leslie) and Glenn Baker; great-grandchildren, Tyler Wells, Drew Wells, Rylee Baker, Grayden Baker, Carter Baker, Camden Baker and Avery Baker and his sister, Barbara Nell Felton of Elm City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Mae Baker; sons, Jerry Wayne Baker and Ray Baker; parents, Wright Baker and Ida Ruth Cobb Baker; sisters, Ida Mae Webb, Rosa Carter and Christian Ball and his brothers, James Alton Baker and Walter Baker.
