William Ray Baker
February 20, 1954 – June 26, 2019
William “Stubby” Ray Baker, 65, of Elm City passed away Wednesday. His funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Gene Wells will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at his home.
Stubby is survived by his wife, Kim Baker of the home; daughter, Tina Wells and husband, Keith of Wilson; son, Billy Baker and wife, Leslie of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Tyler and Drew Wells and Carter and Camden Baker; father, Bill Baker of Wilson; brothers, Danny Baker and wife, Becky of Elm City, Keith Baker and wife, Lisa of Wilson and Jeff Baker of Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Baker and brother, Jerry Baker.
