William Steward Bakley

October 6, 1959 – January 13, 2022

William Steward Bakley, 62, of Wilson, passed away Thursday. A celebration of life will be held on January 22, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway at 2 p.m.

William is survived by his daughter, Kelly Rae Sierra and husband William of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Daniel Bakley of Raleigh and Robert Bakley of Silver Hill, Maryland and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Bakley and sister, Linda Bakley.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
