William "Billy" Henry Lamm

William “Billy” Henry Lamm, 79, went to be home with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 10.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 1407 Forest Hills Road NW, Wilson.  Interment will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, Wilson.  Reverend Mark Harrell will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Linda Mercer Lamm of the home; son, William Michael Lamm and spouse, Beth of Wilson; daughters, Sharon L. Ellis and spouse, Tracy of Mecklenburg, VA and Karen L. Johnson of Kenly; grandchildren, William Joseph Lamm and spouse, Beth, Elizabeth Michelle Barfield and spouse, Ronnie, Jennifer Rae Marriner and spouse, Brett, and Tyler Ray Peeden and spouse, Madison; great-grandchildren, William Ryder Lamm, Ryleigh Lamm, Mathew Lanier, Brysen Barfield, and Tanner Barfield; and beloved cats, Miss Paws and Climber.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, William Andre Lamm and Minnie Watson Lamm.
