William "Billy" Joseph Stancil

William Joseph Stancil August 8, 1963 – February 20, 2016 William “Billy Jo” Joseph Stancil, 52, of Bailey passed away Saturday. His funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Pastor Greg Stancil will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Theresa Moore, 6228 Deans Street, Bailey. Billy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he enjoyed watching the UFC fights. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to everyone who knew him. Billy was deeply loved by his friends and family will be greatly missed and thought of often with memories that will warm the heart. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Lori Manning Stancil of the home; his three wonderful sons, Joshua, Justin and Joseph all of Bailey; his mother, Mae Lewis Lamm of Bailey; sisters, Nell Holland of Grifton, and Jackie Warren and husband, Wayne of Scotland Neck, and his brothers, David Lewis and wife, Arlene of Bailey, Randy Massey of Florida, Jeffrey Stancil and wife, Sally of Grifton, and Kenneth Stancil and wife, JoAnn of Dudley, and special sister, Theresa Moore. He was preceded in death by his father, George Sydney Stancil and step-mother, Lucille Stancil.
