William Franklin Brown, Jr. October 26, 1929 – June 13, 2019 William “Bill” Franklin Brown, Jr., 89, of Stantonsburg passed away Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Maplewood Cemetery. Pastor Wayne Whitley will officiate. The family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Bill is survived by his son, William Brown of Maryland; daughter, Anna Rose of Wilson; son, Curtis Brown of Dunn; daughter, Donna Cottrell of Stantonsburg; five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalyn “Ginger” Brown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Bill’s name to 3HC Hospice, 2440 Montgomery Drive, NW, Wilson, North Carolina 27893.
