William Herman Grimmett

William Herman Grimmett November 15, 1968 – December 18, 2017 William Herman “Bill” Grimmett, 49, of Wilson passed away Monday. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Oakdale Cemetery, Spring Hope. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 8007 Wiggins Mill Road, Wilson. Bill is survived by his daughters, Diamond Callaway of Wilson, Destiny Bailey of Kenly, and Alexzandra Grimmett of Greensboro; two grandchildren; his sisters, Bessie Ann Pope of Lucama, and Nellie Nesbitt of Virginia, and his brothers, Thomas Sheppard, and Michael Sheppard. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Bill’s honor to The Hungry Pet Food Bank, 5930 Blalock Road, Lucama, North Carolina 27851.
