William C. “Hat” Lamm May 23, 1933 – May 10, 2017 William C. “Hat” Lamm, 83, of Bailey passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday at Oasis of Love Tabernacle Church, 6525 Schooners Road, Bailey, North Carolina. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. Pastor Pam Denton and Scott Hendricks will officiate. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of his son William Lamm. William is survived by his daughters, Susan Lamm Lucas and husband, Ricky, of Wilson, Teresa Kaye Brown of the home; son, William E. ‘Dick” Lamm and wife, Vickie of Bailey; sister, Learie Jerden of Bailey; daughter-in-law, Angie Lamm of Elm City; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Lamm; four brothers and two sisters.
