William Lewis Quidley
December 21, 1959 – October 3, 2019
William “Bill” Quidley, 59 of Middlesex passed away Thursday peacefully at home after a courageous twelve-year battle with a brain tumor. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, 2437 Zebulon Road, Zebulon with the family receiving friends following the service. Pastor Wayne Goff will officiate.
“Bill” will be missed everyday by his wife, Jamie Jobe Quidley and step-son, Joshua Manning of the home; his daughter, Erica Nicole Quidley; step-son, James K. Madison, Jr.; step-daughter, Ashley Flythe and husband, Kevin; mother and step-father, Nancy B. Nobles and Don of Pinetops; grandchildren, Brooklyn Rose; step-grandchildren, Carolina Flythe and Nathan Flythe; sister, Virginia Griffin and husband, Bud of Goldsboro; nephews, Matthew Griffin and Michael Griffin of Goldsboro and Randy Pittman, his life-long friend and “partner in crime”.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lewis “Pa Bill” Quidley, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Joseph Carl and Virginia Brown and paternal grandparents, John B. and Celia Midgette Quidley.
