William "Wibbie" Roland Liles

William “Wibbie" Roland Liles, 78, of Wilson passed away Thursday, March 12, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Rev. Tommy Hagan and Rev. Marvin Smith will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the home. 

Wibbie loved to fish and was an exceptional guitar player. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, step-father and friend. He will be dearly missed and thought of often.

Wibbie is survived by his loving wife of six years, Sandra Nordan Liles of Wilson; daughter, Debbie Drydan and husband, Nathan of Virginia; sisters, Geraldine Williams of Bailey, Irene Eatmon of Wilson, and Norma Ellen Page and husband, Doug of Wilson; step-sons, James Nordan and wife, Delores of Lincolnton and Robin Nordan of Wilson, and his step-daughters, Wendy Joyner, Cindy Hendricks, Hope Coley and Faith Gooch all of Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Nellie Liles; sister, Frances Joyner and his nephew, William Joyner.
