Willie Melvin Costin

Willie Melvin Costin January 5, 1937 – February 10, 2017 Willie Melvin Costin, 80, of Bailey passed away Friday. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey.  The Rev. Gerald Wiggs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Willie is survived by his sisters, Joyce Brantley and Jean Costin both of Bailey; his brother, Frank Joyner and wife, Joan of Bailey, his special niece and nephew, Audrey Perry and George Joyner, along with several nieces and nephews, and his lovely friend, Ruth Miles. He is preced in death by his parents, Stacy Britt Costin and Anna P. Joyner; his wives, Ann Wester Costin and Ann Strickland Costin, and his brothers, Alton Costin and George Joyner, Jr. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks for all of the love, care and support Avanti gave Willie during his stay.  Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
