Willie "Dan" Daniel Ellis

Willie Daniel Ellis July 29, 1945 – February 4, 2018 Willie Daniel “Dan” Ellis, 73, of Kinston passed away Sunday. His memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. The Rev. Julius Whitley and Rev. Alex Ellis will officiate. Dan is survived by his wife, Janet Ellis of the home; his son, Chris Ellis and Crystal Mann of Virginia, and Keith Ellis of South Carolina; step-son, Brent Bissette and wife, Jessy of Wilson; his granddaughters, Katie Ellis, Maggie Ellis, and Finley Ellis all of Virginia, Peyton Ellis of Tennessee, and Leah Bissette, Brinlynn Bissette, and Brianna Bissette all of Wilson; grandson, Taylor Bissette of Wilson; his sister, Linda Hughes of Wilson, and his brother, Leslie Ellis of Wilson, and Joseph Ellis of Raleigh.
